I read that when I got home from work this morning. He seems to be pretty friendly. I just don't really like the overall atmosphere there at the moment.

I am confused, on who's end?



But I hope everything stays the same, as the new owners said they would.

I was talking about why Paul has left ForumPromotion. After reading through this topic I have seen a few things I might aswell answer whilst I am here. The new owner is Fergal as I am sure you all know by now. He is very experienced in management and has had quite a few successful forums. At the minute he will not be changing anything about FP, he will make changes down the line but only if they are needed. Murder he Wrote does not own any of FP or ever did. He was selling the forum on behalf of me at DigitalPoint. It is no secret Fowler left because he had things going on in his personal life and disliked Murder he Wrote but selling FP had nothing to do with Fowler or Murder he Wrote. 2 years and 6 months is a long time and there is too much drama for me to deal with now so I decided to sell up.



I am really confident about Fergal, he is very experienced in things like management and is very professional but a fun person too. Sometimes you get people who can be professional but don't really interact with the members but he does. So far so good anyway and I hope it continues.

Because of two of the staff there, they don't like to see what people have to say and they just don't like to have feedback.



I'm glad I've left now as I can't be doing with being on a site where the staff do NOT know how to be friendly.

Thanks a lot for your PM, I appreciate you bringing your concerns to my attention and I'm sorry that you feel that way. As you know I'm new here and it would be unfair for me to comment on staff members. I bought this forum because I believe it is a great community and I have to applaud the work done by both staff and members, to bring FP to where it is today.



Obviously no one is perfect and I'm not trying to justify anyone's actions, just to say that even if people have made mistakes, I still recognise the excellent work that has been done here.



We all want this forum to be a friendly place and I'll be working to help us achieve that. I will be looking at staff and member policies soon and doing my best to ensure that the forum is as friendly and helpful as possible.



Please don't leave just yet. It would be great if you could please give me a chance to have an input into the community. Please stay around for another two weeks and let me know how you feel then.



In the meantime, please feel free to PM me any time, if there is anything you are unhappy with.

Two staff don't equal a whole set of staff. The banner wasn't going to get changed, there was nothing more to discuss so the feedback thread was locked and because you didn't like it you started to moan and cause trouble about it.

The point was, admins always move the topics to solved before members have time to say what they think!

Well, if it's not then stop replying.
