I own forums as well as blogs. I have multiple forums and multiple blogs. However, I am more experienced with blogs than forums. I find managing blogs easier than managing forums. In my experience the most difficult aspect of running forums is getting members who regularly post on your forum.

I've never really been into blogs. Due to the wide range of topics and the way they're organized on forums I greatly prefer them.

I currently have a blog as well as a couple forums. I prefer forums than blogs, but I don't mind writing articles here and there on my blog too. I don't get any engagement on my blog unfortunately, perhaps it's because it focuses on one particular subject. I do get lots of users browsing the site though.

I use both. Always have. Nowadays, I use my blogsite as an online journal, so to speak, and a storage for all the reviews I have ever written (in the neighborhood of 500 reviews, all about 1,000 words apiece) over the years (about eleven).

Unfortunately a lot of those users browsing the site is most likely bots.
