Fostering

Have you ever considered fostering animals -- giving them a home environment to live in until they find their forever homes?

Since I was last here, myself and my husband have become fosters for the rescue kennels we help out at. We're currently on foster dog number 5.

Her name is Winnie, she's a 1/2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. She's now been with us for six days and she's bonded with us already. She's a lovely dog with such a loving nature. She loves other dogs and people. She's been in Kennels since March. She's a lovely girl and would make someone a great addition to their family. ^_^

Aww that is a nice thing to do. Helping out animals in their time of need plus I'm sure interacting with these dogs probably is a great way to pass the time. Do you ever get attached and want to keep them?

I have two dogs off my own, I can't have any more. I love them all differently, but I know I can't keep them and I don't want to. It can be hard when they get a forever home, but I know then, that I have room to help another one.

I know my sister, who fosters adoption dogs and cats in and around the county.

Fostering is ever so rewarding, I love it! I wish I'd of done it ages ago!!

No, the rescue cover's all that stuff.

Until they find a home -- some dogs take longer than others.
