Isn't that idiot off the air?
The EPA is not constitutional and certainly should be disbanded. The states are responsible for these kinds of issues. The federal government was never designed by our founders to be this powerful over the states and the people. So disband it and 99.9999999999999999999999% of other government agencies that say they are here to help.
Frack away, frack away!
and corporations shouldn't have more power over the people and create dangerous water for them to drink...
In Britain we get half our gas from Russia, piped across Europe via several foreign countries.
Yet we have our own shale deposits that we are not exploiting mainly because the Government and energy companies fear protests from the nimby's and the left wing rent-a-mob.
Energy is also called Power - and the power in Britain should be under British control, not the Russians, not the Europeans, and certainly not from elsewhere like the Arab nations.
The left is nutty but yet they love to use the energy we create that they hate so much.
Well they don't as long as government does not create cronyism with those corporations. And making sure they do not create dirty water should be left up to the people in each state.
we can talk about shoulda, woulda and coulda be but i'm talking about real life here, not pretend land...
i only see the nutty left trying to change the dependency of gas and oil...
and it's like currency, you don't have to like it or use it but it's basically forced upon the people...
I am an environmentalist, and since fracking is "fucking the earth," I am completely against it. It's a shame that some think this is a good idea because it's effects on the earth are showing all over the country and world. Anyone can argue the proof and scientific validity, I'm just saying it as I know it, its fucking the earth....
how do you feel about fracking?
--How do I feel about fracking? I support it because, (1)it helps provide America with lots of relatively inexpensive energy, (2)it helps provide both jobs and tax revenues to states and localities and (3)it helps America wean ourselves off of oil from parts of the world that aren't so friendly towards the U.S. - namely the Persian Gulf, Venezuela and so forth.
how do you feel about the epa?
--In some areas, they've done a good job at keeping the air and water clean for future generations...in other areas, not so much.
are we screwed?
--Only if you believe we need to be completely dependent on solar and wind power.
"more than 425 peer-reviewed scientific studies on the effects of shale gas development now exist, and 75 percent of those have been published since January 2013. Of the 49 studies that investigated the health effects of fracking, 47—more than 96 percent—found risks or adverse health outcomes."
So, then, why do we want a moratorium for further study? How about the people themselves taking action to ban it - not for 2.5 years, but forever. They have a right to do so.
fracking is "fucking the earth,"
I hope they wear a condom.
good thing that states are reconizing the dangers in fracking such as maryland...
Maryland Passes 2.5 Year Fracking Ban
how do you feel about fracking?
I wonder how many of these "peer reviews" are involved the global warming hoax and the decades of false data given out to the people. I am sure not many at all. LOL!
