France Attacks

Not looking good in France where there have been a few knife attacks by extremists in different locations. If you aren't aware of what is happening, this mostly centres around satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. They have published controversial cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad and that angered quite a lot of people.

The French government's response hasn't gone down too well with several countries including Turkey and Saudi Arabia as well. What do you guys think of the situation?

I never even heard of this happening, but that's because America might be entering into our own civil war over here. The world is really going to hell in 2020.

French president Macron is being vilified by Muslims. Even a mixed martial arts champion is cursing Macron. UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is urging the Muslim community against France. This is not a good scenario for Macron because there is a sizable number of Muslims in France that they can affect the political situation there. The issue started with a cartoon that portrayed Muhammad in a negative manner.

From my honest opinion, muslims were always more delicate in these situations, i have seen LGBT people portraying Jesus Christ as a gay man and we haven't saw a massacre towards them (at least this brutal and public)

Most of this hate comes from the behavior of their practitioners. They see themselves discriminated in some way and they try to show them they can hit too.

Shouldn't they be going after the person who drew it? Granted I'm sure said person has already fled.

Never understood why people get so touchy with their religions really. If I believed in something and someone made fun of it, I would honestly just ignore them.
