Free Comic Book Day

What a great offer for comic book lovers. The free comics look awesome. Wondering on how many free comics you get. It says it varies from store to store. Have you been to this event before Sci? If so, how many free comic books were you able to get?

I know Hastings, which is a store I like to go to that sells CD's, Movies, TV shows, Comics, Books, and other stuff does it. And I haven't really had a chance to take part in it. But hopefully this time around I will.

I hope you get to go this time!

I hope so too! Probably would be a good idea to call them like I did last time. Which is how I wound up getting the Puppet Master dvd box set.

Wow, that's awesome and you probably should call them.

Aye, I may wait til tomorrow to do it. Probably get up a little earlier then usual and call up there. Problem is, I forget what time they usually open up.

Just wondering if you went to Hastings. If so, what did you get for free?

Aye, that I did.

I got:

Young Justice/Batman: Brave and the Bold Super Sampler

The Amazing Spider-Man *Not sure if its a stand alone or part of the current series*

Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers/Darkwing Duck *bit of a special 2 for 1 going on with that. Much like the first one I mentioned*

Sonic The Hedgehog

Elric: The Balance Lost

Green Lantern special edition

Geronimo Stilton *Includes a complete story starring The Smurfs*

And Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse A very old school version.

Normally, an amount like that would be close to 15 or 20 dollars altogether.
