Today if you haven't heard by now, was/is Free Comic Book Day. Also Star Wars Day too. But the Comics was more my thing. Mostly by pure luck I found out about a comic shop that was in driving distance and doing up a comic con called Tahle-Con which was being held at the NSU college. Which I can now safely say I've gone to College. Lol. Did any of you do anything related to this day? Here's a look at what I got:
Avatar's Absolution, Viz Media's Dragonball, Kaboom!'s Summer Blast, Pow! Entertainment's Chakra The Invincible, IDW's Judge Dredd Classics, Arcana's The Steam Engines of Oz, ComixTribe's The Red Ten, Aspen Comics' World of Aspen 2013, and 2000 AD. Not shown is Top Cow's Aphrodite IX. The little comic is Seamus O'Leary: Bigfoot Returns and is from Area 51 Comics Studio This little title is something I bought for a dollar.
Tahle-Con was a great first time experience for me when it comes to Comic Cons. The fact it was in driving distance was pretty awesome too. Was plenty of room to move around. Seeing some of what Equinox Comics had with them at the show was pretty cool too.
