Free Image Hosts

Do you use free image hosts such as Imgur for your website graphics? Or do you prefer to host them on your server?

Better to host them yourself as it's not great to introduce many external connections during page load.

Forums can be kinda tricky in this regard due to signatures and avatars etc, but XF has it's image proxy system which makes that a non-issue.

Back in the day I used photobucket, but that is no longer an option. With my current hosting, I just host everything myself, less worry of another site going down.

I have been known to use Imgur whenever I have needed image hosting. I find them to be reliable and easy to use.

Sometimes hosting too many images yourself can take up space and if I can avoid that I will.

When it's handy, I might use Imgur. I do have a paid ImageShack account though, so I've been using that for the most part.

I used to use photobucket, but now I just upload everything to my own server so I don’t lose my graphics.
