Who likes French Toast?

French toast is a dish of sliced bread soaked in beaten eggs and often milk or cream, then pan fried.

When French toast is served as a sweet dish, sugar, vanilla, or cinnamon are also commonly added before pan-frying, and then it may be topped with sugar (often powdered sugar), butter, fruit, or syrup. When it is a savory dish, it is generally fried with a pinch of salt or pepper, and it can then be served with a sauce such as ketchup or mayonnaise.

I love to get it at a restaurant if I'm going to one for breakfast.

YESS!

No sugar, syrup, ketchup, mayo, etc. Only salt & pepper for me mixed in with the batter.

I absolutely love French toast! I've been pretty obsessed with eggs benedict lately, though.

i listen to a talk radio station here in NJ... nj101.5 one day the topic was food you eat in a way that some think is strange/weird. someone called in with French toast with ketchup. my first immediate thought was GROSS. BUT... French toast is very similar to a fried egg sandwich. ketchup makes total sense. as a mayo fan, i definitely will try that... soon.

I LOVE french toast <33

I'm pretty sure my old tinder bio was about how "I can make french toast better than your mom" lmao
