Fruit cake (or fruitcake) is a cake made with chopped candied fruit and/or dried fruit, nuts, and spices, and (optionally) soaked in spirits. A cake that simply has fruit in it as an ingredient can also be colloquially called a fruit cake. In the United Kingdom, certain rich versions may be iced and decorated. Fruit cakes are often served in celebration of Christmas.

Do you like Fruit Cake/Christmas Cake?

No, but I have had good ones where the cook thought outside of the box and made it good. The traditional ones suck.

I tried a Traditional one once and it was gross. :green:

I saw a full display of little ones (look like nobody bought any) at the grocery store the other day for $6 each and I was thinking in my head "is that how much they expect us to pay for them OR is that how much they are paying us to take them away?" :P

They make great door stoppers!

I don't know what it is but I just can't stomach even looking at fruit cake. :green:
