This hasn't happened yet, but it's too good not to share XD

BUT next week I get to hit a fake blood soaked sponge with a hammer XD We have to do this to study blood spatter pattern, but my lecturer says that it decends to mayhem XD One lass was stood on the other side of the lab and managed to hit the sponge hard enough to make spatter to the other side of the lab XD

I'll tell you how it goes next week, but I though you all wanted to know XD

Sounds like fun.

I saw a television show where the forensic team did this. I found it very fascinating and it's amazing all the information they can get from blood splatter.

My lecturer says that it's a fun but informative practical to do, I'm looking forward to it!

Can't wait to hear how it goes Dragon.

If I can upload pictures of my possibly fake blood soaked lab coat then I will XD

Lucky you! That sounds fun! Can't wait to see the pics.

I'm studying Forensic Chemistry, but we have to do modules on Forensic Science.

Forensic Science? Does this have anything to do with murder cases or criminal cases? Because I know they need like blood samples to identify someone who's been killed or whatever. Is that what it is.

That's good. I want to do a similar course when I go to University.

Was the lesson fun?

From what I understand, it takes a lot of practice to do fingerprinting. It's not as easy as it looks.

I know that now. I'm not good at taking fingerprints of glass with aluminum powder. But I'm good at taking fingerprints of paper with magnetic flakes

Very cool stuff. What made you decide to get into the field of Forensic Chemistry?

I've always like chemistry the most, but I want to do something with it to help people. With the Forensic Chemistry degree, I can do most analytical chemistry jobs. Plus, I've always been interested in Forensics. So I combined the two things I love
