Lady Gaga has truly come to prominence not entirely because of the talent within her which I don't deny that she has but instead because of the intentionally unorthodox actions that she makes, and honestly I can respect that. However, I honestly have garnered respect for Britney Spears due to being seemingly tortured my the media and those around her to the point at which she collapsed and miraculously managing to climb above it all to being from what I've read and seen, a good mother and presumably a mature adult. You can question me by saying that what you see isn't always what rests within however, that would contradict anything and everything that you could possibly have against Britney Spears as you truly not have complete comprehension of precisely why she did the things that she did and honestly, I have grown to the belief that the reason she did them was because of the tremendous stress planted upon her. If I were to have been forced to choose who at which is the more talented of the two, I'd go as far as saying that neither truly are fantastic musicians however, both are remarkable performers whether any of us like it or not.
I don't like the music of either. But I prefer Gaga as she plays an instrument, writes her own songs and can sing. She also respects her fans and is not afraid to be different. Which is more than can be said for Miss Spears.
