Through the years, that have been many gaming consoles that have come and gone. But which one is your favorite? Are you a Nintendo, Playstation, or Xbox fan? Do you prefer hand held or traditional? What's your reasoning for which console(s) that you enjoy? Let's chat about gaming consoles!

I've used consolee by all 3 companies - PlayStation is easily the best haha. I have a PS4 at the moment, and plan on purchasing a PS5 soon. As for handheld devices, the DS and Vita aren't really my thing, but I had a PSP back in the day and I loved it!

I'm mostly a playstation/sony fan, with Nintendo being a strong second in my system lineup. I've never own a Xbox system, might change though if they bring out a new perfect dark.

I prefer Sony/PS4 over Microsoft/Xbox. The reason being is I grew up with a PS4 and i'm used to its mechanics. I've played briefly on the Xbox and I just can't get the hang of it.

I have consoles of varying generations by all three but atm I mostly use my Xbox One.

I could never get the hang of Xbox. I've played on it a few times but I find the controller to be too bulky and the buttons I can't seem to figure out. It's probably no different to the PS4 buttons but the symbols are confusing.

I often refer to the xbox buttons as the corresponding ps buttons (triangle etc) as that's what I remember most.

The original xbox pad was incredibly bulky. The current gen not so much. But I do notice how light the ps4 pad feels compared to the xbox one pad.

Yeah, PS4 one is light and I prefer it so. Easy to grip onto. I found the Xbox one would hurt my hands, fingers after a while. I just didn't like it as much. I hope the next-gen would be better!

Possibly try a 3rd party controller for xbox?

The PS4 has been my favorite.

I'm a PlayStation fan.

Do you prefer hand held or traditional?

Traditional. Although I've had a few Nintendo Gameboys growing up.

What's your reasoning for which console(s) that you enjoy?

The PS4 because of Bethesda games. I'm able to download mods for both Skyrim and Fallout 4.

I'm neither a Xbox, Playstation, nor Nintendo fan. I've always been a Sega fan boy, and even though they no longer make consoles they're still my favorite. :P The Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive outside of North America) is my all time favorite gaming console. It was my first console, and I have many great memories playing it growing up. Without the Genesis nor Sonic, I wouldn't be a gamer. Though if I had to pick which one I prefer out of last gens consoles (I don't own neither the Xbox Series X/S or PS5...) I like the Xbox One over the PS4 simply because game pass and backwards compatibility. I'm glad Sony finally gave the PS5 backwards compatibility with the PS4, but still Microsoft did it better. Game Pass will IMO always be better than PS Plus/Now since you actually get a huge library of games you can download and play for a monthly fee. Plus if you choose to buy any of those games you get a discount! The switch is cool I guess, I mainly get Nintendo consoles for Pokemon and of course Mario nothing really else though...

Sega's a proper throw back. Love it. I remember playing Sonic on it :P
