Gardening, window plants

Does anyone here like gardening? Or have any windowsill plants?

I am trying to grow an Oriental Lily in a pant pot on my windowsil. I know next to nothing about gardening or growing potted plants. But I loved to see things grow. I struggle to get out and do gardening but when I can its a great interest to destress.

On my windowsill in the kitchen, I have different colored Schlumbergera plants aka Christmas Cactus. They look like this one:

Because of wildlife and sandy soil, I have created a container pot garden on my deck. I grow flowers, shrubs and vegetables in the containers. The container pot garden looks very similar to this one: http://www.nwf.org/How-to-Help/Gard...r-Wildlife-Garden.aspx?campaignid=WH11F1ASCXX

My mum has an aloe vera plant and various cactus on her windowsills.
