What is the worst sound you have woken up to?

Lightning is one that can startle you out of your sleep.

When I lived out in the country. The sound of coyotes howling and right outside your window is a little disturbing.

When I lived in an apartment, I was woken up by a car horn that somehow got stuck. Took forever for the freakin' owner of the car to go and shut the damn thing off.

I've heard that happening where I live now and at hotels at other places when I go on vacation.
