Nope, Obama sucks. McCain would have been awesome.

Sorry T, I have to disagree with you on that.

I don't see that much of a substantial difference between them.

Yes, Obama was, repeat that, Was a flaming liberal who has totally morphed into a D.C. politician.

But John McCain was already a D.C. politician, and who can stand as an example of everything wrong with that particular species of rancid scum sucking poison spewing lying thieving scheming crooked as....

Yeah, them.

It's just a jump to the left

And then a step to the right

In energy speech, Obama exchanges the ambitious for the politically possible

President Obama called Wednesday for a one-third cut in oil imports, to be achieved by increased domestic production, alternative energies, and higher fuel efficiency....

Mr. Obama, speaking at Georgetown University, set out a multi-pronged approach to reaching that goal: finding and producing more oil in the United States, boosting fuel efficiency, and turning to cleaner alternative fuels. And while he is not as open to domestic oil drilling as some Republicans would like, he did try to reposition himself as a drilling-friendly president, even as he pushed for more electric cars, more use of natural gas and biofuels, and higher fuel efficiency standards.

The original intent was that people would serve for a time, then go home.

None of the founders wanted a class of professional politicians and several of them wrote against the breed.

Unfortunately, we are getting about as far away from the original intent of the constitution as possible.

If they had only written term limits into it instead of just talking about it, things MIGHT be different.
