^ Alot of black/death metal bands I cant understand.. But the music is good. Screamo is just a racket!

Plus most of the vocalists can't scream properlly. That'll be theyre vocals ruined in a few years.

I'd like to join the screamo bandwagon and add nu metal and rap.

However, I'd like to make clear that screamo =/= everything with harsh vocals.

A lot of death and black metal vocalists have impressive range, and training your ear to listen to the genre goes a long way towards understanding lyrics.

In some band's defenses, their lyrics are what really matter... but what's the point of SCREAMING lyrics that you want to use to connect with people?
