Have you ever encounter members / people getting defensive over your comments when they actually asked for it. I mean seriously.. what they actually want? If you don't wanna get an awful truth then don't ask.

I have seen that to some extent. It's not pleasant when it happens. If you happen to be a staffer, you should always use lots of tact when addressing issues brought up by members.

Some people ask for honest opinions or the real truth but still want a sugar coated answer.

It's sort of funny. I have tried for a few months now not to care so much. It's the blasted internet. What do you want? If you ask people if you should off yourself and they say yes, then it's not their fault if you die, it's yours. For one, your life is your life, and if you kill yourself then YOU did it. It's the internet, do you expect them to be tactful?

I have encountered people who didn't appreciate my honest opinion and though I wasn't rude about it they did not like what I had to say. It's sad because it isn't supposed to be something negative or mean, I'm just letting them know so they can grow from the experience.

Either way, all I can do is say my part. What they do with that information is ultimately up to them.
