How long does it take you to get ready for work in the morning?

I get up and get around an hour and half earlier before I have to head in like waking up, showering, and taking the kids to school.

About 20 mins give or take, at this point it takes me longer to get out of bed to get ready for work lol.

I also get up an hour and a half before I have to leave the house. I walk my dog and then feed him his breakfast while I have mine. Then I shower and get dressed. One more dog walk before I leave and that's basically my morning routine on work days.

I mean it takes me 10/15 minutes to actually get ready for work. But I also do other things before hand so get up an hour and half before.

I try to get up an hour before I need to leave the house, but in reality it's normally only about half an hour by the time I actually make it out of bed.

Getting ready for work consist of me taking a shower, brushing my hair and teeth and applying moisturizer and getting dressed before clocking in so... 30 minutes tops I'd say.

Normally I'll eat something for breakfast, get dressed, brush my hair and teeth and that's about it. I normally take my showers at night, not first thing in the morning.

I take about 45 minutes to get ready, i need to have breakfast, iron my clothes, brush teeth, take a bath and then go.

2 mins. I got my job during the lockdown so I've been working at home since then. So since I start at 9am, I just wake up at around 8:55am. I stay in bed for a few minutes and then log on for work at around 8:58am. I'm definitely going to miss it when we return to the office :(

I get up an hour before work, long enough to have a coffee and a shower.

Any idea when that might be?
Just after Easter is the predicted time. We now have a new lease at a new building, which funnily, is just down the road from the old one. And when I say just down the road, I mean, like 20 seconds down it lol.

They did ask us a while back what we wanted to do so we won't be forced back if we don't want to return to the office.

My management is pretty laid back about home working, it is certainly more productive for me to be at home but I do miss the socialising aspect of going to work. Sometimes it is nice to get reassurance from colleagues too.

Yeah, it's only the social aspect that I would like. The commute, lunch breaks, and lack of freedom (compared to your own home) are just not fun.

We finally got some information about our new office so looks like we're back in for 1 day of the week starting from April. And then at least 2 days a week starting from June. But if anyone likes to continue working from home, that can be arranged.

Sounds like you have a good deal. Employers will be saving a fortune downsizing buildings as lots of staff will never return to the office IMHO.

I generally take about half an hour from the moment i wake up to the starting work. :)

I remember those days when waking up early to go to school and get the bus at 7.30PM and always had to rush rush to get everything done before the bus comes for school LOL worse part is that I'm not a morning person and still this day I'm not.

I rather get up an hour before going. Nowadays anyway.

It depends on how awake I am. :V Most of the time it only takes me about 35 minutes, that includes taking a shower, eating breakfast, and brushing my teeth.

I just need to get ready for 30 minutes of work in the morning. It has not been that long since I worked from home.
