Ghost hunting.

This is one of my hobbies..

I'm still a novice really though but so far. I've been to some locations which I truly believe are haunted.

So I was wondering if anyone else has this as an interest/hobby? If so where have you been and what have you experienced?

My next is Saturday, I'm already excited.

Ha Jewel I was first time. I actually went crazy on the net and you tube to give me an idea of what to expect.... I guess it didn't help my first was 31st October. The night of the dead.


Last one would of being my best. The place is called Woodchester Mansion in Gloustershire. I did no research at all. I wanted to "test" so to speak. So I used a pendulum and asked questions. Everyone has their yes, no and maybe. I asked a question got a name and googled it when I got home. It was the granddaughter. But that place although beautiful in design is bad. Santanic magic was practiced their. Whilst using the church as a cover for free masons. Have you heard of an elemental?

Most scary part is seeing someone Morph into someone else. I've see it twice now.

Tables tipping, voices heard. Even cold zones. I go with my step daughter. She's had a lady? When on her own whisper free me into her ear.

My 1 friend and I years ago were on vacation and were talking about going on a "Ghost Walk", yeah we decided no lol.

I'm with Jewel...I don't/wouldn't do it, simply because I'd be afraid that something real MIGHT happen. And then, I'd have to shit my pants.

I'm not a believer or a disbeliever, but I will share THIS story with you. Over 10 years ago, while living in New Mexico, my Grandmother (whom I wasn't REALLY close to, emotionally, though we've always been geographically close - she was a solid, straight-forward, almost rigid and no-nonsense kind of lady) died of old age in California. The day after her death, 3 pennies were lying on the floor of my living room. No big deal, but odd that they would be there. I picked them up and put them in our coin jar, in the bedroom. The next day, 3 pennies were on the TV stand in the family room. Odd that AGAIN I found 3 pennies not where they should be; it's not like I or my dear beloved carried loose change around in our pockets and left them wherever. I put them in the coin jar.

About a week later, 3 pennies were on our dresser. NOW, I was curious. I Googled "significance finding 3 pennies" and discovered that it is a COMMON sign from dear departeds, meant to let others know they've safely passed over.


Weird. Weirder still, when I read that, I got an extremely peaceful and calming feeling washing over me. Like I said...neither a believer nor a disbeliever, but not interested in pursuing it further, mostly 'cuz I don't like shitting my pants.




Have fun on your adventures...you've got bigger balls than I do!!! (And THAT, my friend, is saying a LOT!!!)

I think the coins are a good example of how aware you can become. I loved it @mrldii

My Stepdaughter was open minded when we first started doing this. I was already very aware of them. Even after the previous hunts. There is one place that scares me the most. My parents house.

I've had too many experiences to feel comfortable after dark. Even in the daytime. I feel like I'm being watched there. So does my own child. Who I have never told of my experiences. Texted one day Ammpa has gone out and I can't go downstairs. I said why. The reply was I feel scared. I asked why. I got a reply of I feel like I'm being watched.


I actually believe, children who have imaginary friends are spirits.

Lol@shitty pants there are times, when I'm stood in the dark of place and someone says "Let us know you are here, by making a noise, touching one of us:" I used to go in my head whatever you do please don't touch me"

There was an incident at Drakelow Tunnels where a very young woman, about 18. Was talking to one very badly, demanding and rude. He hurt her chest, then actually said take that bitch. For effect, he did it a second time. She cried and left the room. She passed out after.

Send 'em on over to Compton...there's only ONE person I know who has family that lives there.

Let me know if that ghost is also going to swing through MY city of Stockton to "whoop my ass" on his way from "Texas, to visit his family that lives in South *Cali*", too.
