None? ...like if you got one to Target or Wal-Mart or amazon.com, you'd just throw it away?

The retailers love them.

Most people go in and buy a little more than what was on the card.

And any money left on the card is pure profit for them.

Yeah, I've gotten a Krispy Kreme gift card that I still haven't used. I do LIKE Starbucks gift cards in the off chance that I want to go, but I rarely do.
