A five-year-old girl was made to sign a contract promising not to kill anyone at school, which unsurprisingly annoyed her mother.

The pupil was given the form after she drew a ‘gun’ and pointed a crayon at another child like it was a weapon.

‘This isn’t right. Elizabeth is five-years-old,’ her mother Rebecca, who did not give her last name, told Local 15 News in Mobile, Alabama.

She added: ‘Most of these words on here, she’s never heard in her life.

‘[They] Asked her if she was depressed now.’

The contract drawn up by ER Dickson school made Elizabeth promise not to kill anyone, including herself.

‘My child interrupted us and said, “What is suicide mommy? Daddy what is suicide?”,’ Rebecca added.

Alabama state does not permit minors to legally sign contracts.

The school has yet to comment.

I'm guess these "contracts" are null and void once you leave the school system after high school or after leave the school

A Five Year Old cannot legally sign anything binding.

wouldnt it be a good idea to have discussed this with the kids parents? see if she is troubled?....or simple case of school over-reacting yet again?

Oh my god! A 5 year old child was playing and said ping, ping or bang bang or something like that. What a horrible very normal child playing like this since the beginning of time. We can't have any of that in the new world order. School personal are going more bat crazy every day.
