Give Peace a Chance?

Since the peak of the cold war, the publicity of the Vietnam War and the sheer exhaustion of war after war, the world looked for peace.

Give Peace a Chance was a dream of a generation.

We have tried Peace through strength, peace through diplomacy, peace through negotiations, yet no matter what is tried we always end up in a place where we are at the brink of a major catastrophe.

No matter who has tried, the on and on and ongoing peace efforts in the Middle East have failed. Time and time again.

Is it time that we just admitted that as a world, world-peace is just not possible? Is it time to sing ‘Give war a chance’ and put an all-out final conflict to resolve it all?

Will there ever be a way to bring peace where religious radicalism and self righteousness just leads to conflict and conflict?

Peace is definitely possible. When all life ends.

We're human; we love conflict; just look at our films, books, and plays.
