Good Friday, also known as Holy Friday, Black Friday, Great Friday, is a holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death as believed by Christians at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Tridium on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and often coincides with the Jewish observance of Passover.

Today is good friday. Some employers give you the day off and others say that you have to work four hours (but get paid for 8 ).. Today I only had to work 4 hours. Not sure the reasoning behind it but I'll take 8 hours worth of pay for 4 hours of work.

I got an email saying today is Friday but Sunday is coming. Maybe that is the reasoning.
