Do you think you could handle working the graveyard (overnight) shift?

I have before at Wal-Mart many times at the Supercenter where I live. I worked as a janitor.

I've never done it so I guess it's hard to answer. But I like to think that I would be able to handle it. I'm a night owl so I wouldn't have trouble staying away

I've done late night shifts that lasted until midnight, last two hours usually dead like a graveyard, long as I can do something, I'm fine with it.

I had always worked 2nd shift because I'm a night owl. There were times I worked 12 hours & those hours creeped into the wee morning. I was extremely tired! It's very hard on the body. I wouldn't work the graveyard shift (aka 3rd shift).

I so badly miss my second shift hours, but oh well, getting off for the early night lets me do more with my life.

I've never done it and don't want to try it either.

My first job offer I got out of college was for a 3rd graveyard shift. Worse of all it was on weekends as well, I would have had no social life at all if I had taken it.

Yeah I've done it a bunch of times in a call centre years ago, it was difficult staying awake tbh.

Nope. I probably could have handled it as a single person but now that I have a family I would miss them so much and hate the idea that I'd be working while they are sleeping and I would have to be sleeping while they're awake.

I will definitely say no. That is the reason why I dropped the idea of working for a call center company. I tried for two months and quit the job because I could not work the graveyard shift.
