Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Thoughts?

I thought the movie was depressing. It was okay overall. I do plan on adding it to my MCU collection but I do think it was weak when compared to the first 2 films. My mother took my kids to see it and unfortunately they hated it so much that they left before it was half way over.
 
I saw it in theaters and teared up at the end. I'm happy with the way it ended, even if it was an emotional ride. James Gunn did a fantastic job and so did the rest of the cast.
