What is your happiest memory growing up?

My happy memories growing up are all mainly with my Grandparents. I used to stay at their house every weekend and remember doing lots of things fun like going to the seaside and going up the hills for walks.

I remember with my Grandparents on my father's side, who are sadly not with us anymore, having a carrot fight my Granda. It was random but fun

With my Grandparents on my mother's side, the memories that stick with me are my Grandad making bad jokes and pranks (like hiding my shoes).

I don't really remember but I think it was when I got my first pet, my cat

The radiohead concert I've been to a few years ago.

When I was going to celebrate my 10th birthday, I asked my dad if I could have a puppy. He told me that there was no way I would get a puppy for my birthday. The day of my birthday came and sure enough there was no puppy. He told me the neighbor wanted to give me a present so we walked over to her house. When I got inside, there was a puppy with a great big bow around its neck. I started to cry as I thought the neighbor got a puppy and I didn't. My dad then said: Happy birthday and what are you going to name YOUR new puppy? I cannot even explain the happiness I felt that day looking at that little dog that was mine. I named her Hope as I never gave up hope that my dad would let me have a puppy.
