What was your happiest moment in 2010?

I think it's rather interesting that the biggest regret thread got more responses than this happiest moment thread

However, I had two happiest moments. Both times when I was told by the dentist I had no cavities

Ehh remembering a major regret was already hard for me, let alone choosing between all the happy moments...

IDK I suppose getting together with my girlfriend, however I can't really pick a pecific time or date.

My happiest moment was erased by the biggest regret, thus rendered basically non-existent.

In July of 2010 my big boy Louie was diagnosed with a mass cell cancer tumor on his right hind paw. The surgeon had to amputate two toes and it was doubtful that Louie would ever walk again on four legs. Prognosis that the surgeon removed all of the tumor was slim. Louie is 2 years old and only weighs 8 pounds. The fact he survived the surgery alone was a miracle. By August, Louie was running and using all four legs. I had to wait 3 weeks for blood results to come back regarding any cancer cells still present. When I got the call that Louie was cancer free was the happiest day of my life let alone the happiest day of 2010.

Here are two pictures of Louie (he's a black & tan Miniature Pinscher):

Hmm..I would say the happiest moment I had in 2010 was when I got all of my Christmas money

My happiest moment in 2010 was right at the last week of the year when I told my best friend all my feelings about her and that I love her. Getting that out there made me feel happy, but what made me feel even more happy is that she confessed all of her feelings for me which were the exact same as mine.

Nothing in particular.

I was pretty happy about the last day of the year though, I got my new RAM working.

Happiest moment, Hmmm, that's a hard one. Probably just spending time at the beach, snorkeling and diving, that's when i am most happy.

That's great Jazzy. Louie looks like a real cutey. I have a beagle and unfortunately she has been diagnosed with a liver condition and chronic diabetes this year. Even with all this going on, she still greets met at the door with tail wagging when I get home, is still loyal and is still affectionate. The human race can learn a lot from dogs.

Thank you very much doenut. Louie has recently been diagnosed with a thyroid problem. He will be on medication for the rest of his life. I can deal with that. I agree with you that humans can learn a lot from dogs. No matter how they feel they are always happy to see you and give you unconditional love.

Finally being able to pursue something that I'm passionate about, and possibly in the future being able to work in Forensics

I'd have to think on it for a while.

Best part of 2010? When it ended...

When it ended, that would be January 1st, 2011 at 12:00am

So that would be your happiest moment in 2011, not in 2010.

Well, 2010 ended before 2011 started, so at that very moment when it ended, but was not 2011, was Smooth's happiest moment. 2010 did not end 1 January 2011 12:00AM - it ended at 11:59:59...[ad infinitum]. 2011 started at 12:00AM on January 1.

No because is 11:59:59 still in 2010.

Yeah, but Smooth cited the moment it ended, which is not the beginning of 2011, but the terminal point of 2010. Thus the last moment (which is actually later temporally than 11:59:59 (hence ...[ad infinitum]...)) of 2010, the very terminal point before 2011, was the happiest moment of Smooth's 2010, per citation.
