Happy Mothers Day to all mothers out there!



We bought my daughter's mom a card, a single red rose.. Put a keychain in the card that is in the shape of a crown and says Princess on it.. Spent about $5 on the present but its the thought that counts.

Before anyone says Our mothers day is on <insert date here> ....we know.. Get over it.

My mom passed away so it's a hard day for me. What I do is I go over to the local Nursing Home and have lunch with the seniors. I bring a bunch of flowers and we use them for the centerpiece in the lobby area. Shame is that there are female seniors and their families don't bother to visit or even send them a card.



On a lighter note, I wish all the Mother's a very happy day!

I won't see him today, as he has to work.



just going to visit my mom, as she is in a nursing home with Alzheimers, she won't even know I was there.......but I will.

My Mom had a pretty good Mother's Day, lol... my brother got her a new monitor for her computer, because her other one was going out... I got her a $40 gift card to Old Navy. She cried.

On Thursday, I called my grandpa (my mom's dad - he's a florist

) and I ordered a bouquet from me and my brothers to be delivered to her school on Friday. She bought herself perfume and a bracelet from us and my dad got a $50 Target gift card from us, but he didn't come in this weekend because he had to work, so she'll get that later. I just got back from lunch with my brothers, mom, grandparents, and 2 of my 3 sets of aunts and uncles and cousins...there were 16 people in all...we had Mexican food.

In about an hour...we're going to see Iron Man 2...me, my bros, my mom, grandparents, and one of my uncles.

Well the card had a drawing of her and the lil one holding hands.. It said I love mommy above it,

The keychain Princess was good because my daughter always refer's to her mom as a princess. The rose was good because she loves flowers. She said she is going to let it dry out, flatten it and stick it in her photo album.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Off Topix mom's!



We had a great weekend, my grandparents and my mom's sisters came up. Had a party Friday, Saturday we hung out and the neighbors came over for dinner, and today we had dinner. They all left now, and now it's time to clean up their mess. Damn them!
