Well tomorrow is the big day! Going to go out to the lake (not actually going out on the boat because its too cold, but its going to be at my uncle and aunts house who happen to next to a lake). It will be fun though. They have a pool table and lots of electronics to play with.

Is it one of those days when most workers are allowed the day off?

I hate to break it to you Nebulous, but not all North Americans have Thanksgiving right now

We had ours months ago. We have a big feast, a family get together, and an overall great time to see people you haven't seen since Easter

(well some of us)

We get Bank Holidays here, don't know if you get them outside of the UK? Most people have the day off for that but my fiance gets 2 days off for every Bank Holiday cause he works for one of the local councils. Lucky bloke!

We watch the parade (Macy's - woohoo!) and then we go to my grandparent's house. We have Thanksgiving lunch - turkey, ham, dressing, and a lot more. Then we watch football...well, the guys do, anyway. All the kids stay in one of the bedrooms and watch TV. I love Thanksgiving - I see family I only see on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

On Saturday, my brothers and I are going to my dad's girlfriend's parents' house for Thanksgiving. We'll see how that goes...

Dinner, hopefully some footballl...we don't make a huge deal out of it in my family

Thanksgiving is a great day. Not exactly like Christmas, but a day set aside to count your blessings. There is usually lots of good food and fellowship. Special programs on TV. Football games, and waaaaaaaaaaay tooo much food.

I ate soooo much pumpkin pie today at work. Someone even gave me a pie.

Honestly? I am planning on hiding from my relatives. I like my immediate family, but I do not like the rest of them.

Todays the day! Happy Thanksgiving all!
