Has anyone been having trouble connected their apple watch with the new iphone 12?

I have been having a hard time trying to connect them too, it seems like it won't connect, It works just fine on any old device. The apple watch is only 2 years old.

Did you end up figuring it out? I love my apple watch and it would drive me nuts if didn't sync up with my phone.

This is what I do not like with iPhones. For this reason, I stopped using it now.
