Has anyone gotten banned or almost banned from delivery services?

Yeah, one place did ban my account and address. It was due to a cousin and his wife at the time living with us who claimed to not have ordered anything via the phone. I called and asked why I couldn't order, and that was why. I was told to pay back the amount before they'd unban me. I was lucky and got out of the payment. The owner unbanned me, and told just to tip the drivers good.

Also does not have to be you, could be a family member, a friend, etc..

That sucks your cousin got you banned. I've never been banned from delivery services but I have had people refuse to deliver to my house because they felt unsafe. Not my current house but when I lived in the hood.

They can yes. The service I used years back was not DoorDash or anything. It was a third party local thing which delivered to your home or wherever.

I don't use doordash or any food delivery service other than the postal service. It's expensive. I'd rather go get it myself.

Sure is!! With the fees and tipping the driver, its like $15 more than the actual food would cost. If you love paying $50 for $35 worth of food then go for it!

Yep, it is. I was a DashPass sub for a year till I lost my remote job. I used it A LOT for my father who was in the hospital and in a rehab place. He'd pay me money back, though. I usually stashed the money and kept it. All the fees are frickin stupid as fuck.

We even get extra fees tacked on here in California because its more expensive for them to operate their business in this state.

How is that MY problem? Either close up shop in this state or eat the costs yourself! Don't pass that on to the customer.

I actually did not know you could be banned, although it does make sense. For myself, I rarely use third-party delivery services like doordash, so I doubt it would ever be an issue.

What types of restaurants still have their own delivery people? I think around here its just Pizza. If you want anything else delivered, its Door Dash or Uber eats.

So, that is about all we have here in Pennsylvania. Just pizza restaurants and restaurants that make pizza lol. There was recently a Mexican restaurant that opened up in town and they make.... Mexican pizza. We do have an occasional Chinese place and the standard fast food chains for our area. But restaurants are a tough find any more.
