Has social media become a problem?

Do you think Social Media has become a major problem?

It is a huge problem. Biggest problem is lack of will to regulate what is allowed and what is not. They allow all sort of crazy and sick stuff to be displayed as normal. They are also used to push some agendas of powerful lobbyists. It also takes young people from thinking about what is going on around them or to even have a rational thought about anything.

Some showing off is cool but it comes across as obnoxious, especially if you don't like the person.
