I don’t set a specific goal for saving, I just try to save when I can.
I must say I’ve done well, though I did end up spending half of it. But it wasn’t on anything unnecessary

This is beautiful! I am guessing that you are now quite closer to your goals since we are now almost 3 months old since you said, right?
I reached my goal. I set a new goal, but I'm no where near it yet. I've decided to try and put some real effort into it this month.
Yes, we achieved our goals!! Because of our ages, we had to shift things around in our portfolio and add more bonds and less stocks, and that is the safer route to go as you get older. I have some friends who are panicking right now because their 401k investments are all stocks and they don't like it when the market goes down. I wish they would change things around so they don't rely on the market so much like that.
