Video games isn't something that's going to give up an edge because of your age. If you lack the skills to play well, a kid with better skills will beat you very well. I had that experience when I played FIFA 21 with my cousin.

Does it really matter if a kid beats you in a game? If the kid knows the game more than you do, even magic wouldn't let you win him. Practice makes perfection and you can't beat that.

Yes, I have had that experience both with my kids and also with random kids playing games such as Fortnite who have beaten me many times. Sometimes I will get the better of them and beat them but it's not always the case and I do end up being on the receiving end instead. It's all part of the fun though I guess and it's not something I tend to take to heart.

It's a very normal thing in the world of playing video games. Once a kid is better than you, there's no way you're not getting beaten. Some kids are so good that you would question if you're any good.
