It wasn't me, but my mother when we got robbed.
Yes, I have.
Yes, several times. Once was to complain about foul neighbours (the police went to talk to them, but they didn't improve!
) Another time was when I lived in London and drove home late at night to see some burglars breaking into a neighbours house (I think they were away at the time)Another time was when the other half was going to work (he works nights) and some drunks drove past him and started shooting at him! That was scary because we just don't have guns here, ever!
I've also called the fire brigade a few times and the ambulance too.
Then there was the time the emergency services phoned me to see if I needed them. Wtf? Then they asked if I had a small child in the house? Turns out, my young son had seen me use the phone so often to call my mum and sister (I lived in London, they lived 100 miles away) that when I popped to the loo, he picked the phone up and pressed some buttons, 'just like mummy'.
Turns out the buttons he pressed were '999'! Yikes!
