Something I have noticed that has been getting a lot more popular is the ring doorbell. My mum recently got one herself a few days ago with her being a carer for my dad so that if she is busy with my dad, she knows who is at the door and can either speak to them and let them know she will be there in a moment or if it's something that she is not expecting and someone she doesn't know, she can just ignore it instead of leaving my dad and running to the door.
I myself have thought about getting one, mainly because I get tired of cold callers and people I do not know coming to the door and trying to persuade me to buy something or sign up for a service.
