Full HD, 4K, 8K - what’s next?

Do you have to have the latest TV technology? Is it important to you?

:tv:

No. I can't afford the newest and latest anyway. Even if I could, I still wouldn't buy it simply because I don't care for having a better toy than the kid next door. Heck, my current computer monitor is an old 17'' CRT, and I don't plan on changing it for as long as it works.

Most of the TV's in this house are 4k. There's a couple 1080 HD TV's and you can't really tell much of a difference between them and the 4k ones.

It's all a scam, if you ask me. Just another money-milking method for the gullible.

That price makes me question the quality of the product.

Also, we live in different worlds, remember? What you take for granted I can only dream about.

Probably not the best brand of TV but the better brands are only a little more.
Also, you're not trapped there. You choose to live there.

No, I was born here. No one ever asked me if I wanted to live here or not, but I am where I am. This is my home, and the idea of moving elsewhere scares me, so I'll pass.

What are you afraid of? A better life?

A change for the worse. You might be used to moving around your whole life, so it's normal to you. I'm not.

From how you explain life where you live, I doubt any change would be for the worse. You can only improve your life by leaving.

That may yet happen, if things continue to spiral down as they have been for a long time now.
I'll probably sell my house and leave California one day. Lets coordinate where we're moving to and be neighbors :highfive: :P
