How does this wrestling section work? You posted this AEW Dynamite segment thread when Dead created a thread for

General Wrestling Discussion Thread (WWE, TNA, AEW, ROH, MLW, NJPW, Etc)

Do we have to post in Dead thread or can we make individual wrestling threads like what you created?

Well, sometimes you see something promotion-specific and you don't want to see it get lost in the clutter, Fall.
So you put as its' own thread; I think most can rationally understand that.

Well, I am watching TNA this evening and Trey Miguel is the opening match. am I allowed to create a thread? if I don't want to post in Dead thread.

My general rule is if its' a general item, it goes in the general thread.
If its' a specific item (like if I want to focus on a specific wrestler/feud/angle/gimmick, etc., that gets it own thread.

Why? Most times its' simply because I don't want something to get lost in the shuffle.

That being said, MJF's heel turn makes zero sense to me because you mean to tell me that kicking Adam Cole in the nuts at Double or Nothing is the end of that angle? What about the rest of the Undisputed Kingdom that fucked him over? Am I supposed to just forget the 3 month angle where the person was running around in a devil mask while Adam Cole was hurt? Fuck outta here.

Welcome to Booking 101 by Cokehead Khan.

I mean, seriously, did anyone expect MJF to be anything but a heel wrestler?

If anyone in AEW can play the heel role to a tee its' that guy; why they had to put him in that ridculous "Better than You, Bay Bay" tag team w/the aforementioned Adam Cole - who's also a natural heel - still baffles me.

*adds w/humorous deadpan* Least they didn't have him do coke bumps like Fr. Mitchell did at NWA Samhain last year.

The only reason why I think they turned him back to being a heel is because there's no top heel outside of whoever's in the Elite. Whenever Kenny Omega comes back hes sure to be a babyface. They just turned Joe because of the team with Hook. They arent turning Ospreay anytime soon because he just left a heel stable.

Outside of the Elite, it's literally the Learning Tree who are some kind of threat. House of Black and Christian's group work for the most part but they aren't in the discussion of being at the top. The Bang Bang Gang, Bullet CLub Gold or whatever the fuck you wanna call them....you mean to tell me you signed Jay White only for him to be in a trios group?

Speaking of shit stables, I've never seen a heel stable so held back because their leader is on the shelf. Roderick Strong has done nothing since losing the International belt, Taven and Bennett are off on ROH and Wardlow is nowhere to be found. These guys literally conspired with another man to help MJF lose the Tag Team AND the fucking World title, and they fall off the face of a cliff?

Like I said, its' Booking 101 by Tony Khan.

I mean, right there you've got at least two heel groups - Jay White and the Bang Bang Gang and Roderick Strong and the Undisputed Kingdom. There's no reason you can't do a short-barrel feud btwn them to see who can dominate the heel side of AEW outside of the Elite (who are their own set of problems - I've said it before and I'll say it again: you can listen to wrestlers who come to you w/ideas for booking but never give them creative control. That's what, in one sense, killed WCW and almost killed TNA/Impact back in the early/mid 2010's.

And the Learning Tree? If the fans early on were any indication, they didn't like it....

...because at this stage in his career, Chris Jericho would be far better suited working as an agent/producer/booker than as an in-ring performer a/la Christopher Daniels, who's done well as an interim EVP (FWIW, Tony Khan should fire the Chucklefucks and put Daniels and Omega in as EVP's - Omega in charge of keeping the locker room at peace, Daniels and/or Jericho in charge of booking). Of course, that would require both AEW and RoH to not be....well,

Ill be watching MITB lol

MITB was a garbage fire.

Our first poorly timed spot that plague all types of ladder matches… Melo climbs a ladder to grab the briefcase, and Andrade is set to break it up. Either Melo was early or Andrade was late, because Melo was basically forced to stand there, fingers on the briefcase, for multiple seconds and wait for Andrade to finally reach him.

I turned it off after that.

"WWE NXT" star Je'Von Evans has an opportunity to capture his first title in the company at NXT Heatwave tonight, and the wrestler is looking forward to it despite the close relationship between Evans and champion Trick Williams. There are some other WWE stars that Evans is eager to get in the ring with, as revealed during a recent "Under The Ring" appearance, when the performer was asked to name his dream opponents.

"Je'Von Evans vs. Randy Orton or Je'Von Evans vs. Rey Mysterio," Evans said. "Rey Mysterio because he's such an O.G. wrestler, and he can still move. He can still do what he used to do, so I feel like I could learn under that. And Randy Orton because he's one of the greatest of all time."

Evans predicted that his name will one day be mentioned with the likes of Orton, and there's no better way to prove that today than to beat him in the ring. For now, though, Evans remains on "NXT," where he is currently preparing to take part in a Fatal Four-Way with the title on the line. Last month, the 20-year-old Evans won a battle royale to decide a new number-one contender to Williams' NXT Championship, but Ethan Page and Shawn Spears were soon able to gain entry into the match as well.

The match this weekend will serve as Evans' WWE premium live event debut. The young performer signed with the company late last year at the age of 19, already with several years of independent wrestling under his belt. Previously known as Jay Malachi, Evans was a regular for Deadlock Pro Wrestling and made an appearance on "AEW Dark" in January 2023

This isnt a WWE/NXT news thread, @FallandPray lol. I have to make one.
