After trying to Google the problem and coming up with no solution, I decided to ask you guys for help.

I cannot watch any videos ( which include YouTube ). I have Windows XP and am using Google Chrome.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a problem with Flash (the program usually used to play videos on the web; used by YouTube).

Which is odd considering that according to this http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=108086 Flash is integrated into Chrome and updated automatically. (I just started Chrome and it would appear to be true.)

Going to the Adobe (company that makes Flash) site reaffirmed it, but I did find this http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player...ontent__How_do_I_get_Flash_Player_to_turn_on_. Oh and I suppose you should check if Chrome's up to date first... it probably is, but it never hurts to check.

Thank you so very much EE! It appears I have an older version of Flash. I will download the newest version later.

At first, I kept getting a YouTube error message: Couldn't load plugin.

The only way to correct it is to go to my Task Manager and stop the progress of the Flash Player. Then I have to go back to YouTube and reload what I was trying to watch. Oh well, it's better than nothing like I used to have.

You could try to circumvent the problem entirely (on YouTube in any case) by letting it use html5 over Flash.

http://www.youtube.com/html5 (Just click the button and see if it works.)

Not sure what button you're talking about. Should I join the HTML5?

Yeah. (I guess it's not really a button
