Personally tonight, I’ve had the best pizza ever : homemade Italian pizza. Bit spicy but not that much, deliciouS from my local grocery store : Provigo. They have just opened a new food corn and my parents have gone there for the 1st time ever. Been a delightful experience for them and for my palat. I’ve washed it all down with a classic coke.

Sounds GREAT!

......nooooo you're making me super hungry right now. Sounds so good :drool2:

I actually really enjoy making mini pizzas at home. Just some flat bread or mini pizza crust, sauce, and cheese. I might get adventurous and add some seasonings at times. Whole pizzas are a bit of a project.

If you have not tried using flour tortillas as a pizza crust; I was so pleasantly surprised with how well this works.

This! They work so well as a light, crispy crust. I even went further once and went tortilla, cheese, tortilla, sauce, cheese, seasoning. It was fantastic! Stuck it in the air fryer and it was perfection in minutes!

Sounds interesting!

For another twist....I had some half & half tortillas (half corn & half flour mix) & a light layer of taco sauce instead of marinara, chopped red onion, bits of leftover chicken & cheese cooked in a cast iron skillet for lunch.
These *hybrid* tortillas are good that way.
Gonna try this idea with corn tortillas when I get some; I'm thinking that corn tortillas may not taste as good as flour with marinara sauce. :dontknow:

Yeah, corn tortillas really don't work well for pizzas, lol, but flour definitely does!

Sounds like a yummy lunch!

I make an excellent Quad City style pizza. Never heard of it? It's a midwest thing and it's finely ground sausage layered under the cheese. We'll be making it this weekend when our daughter comes to visit because we can't buy it where we live.
