Should people be encouraged to opt for homoeopathic medicine?

homeopathic medicine:
An alternative approach to medicine based on the belief that natural substances, prepared in a special way, restore health.

Thoughts?

I am taking it to keep my parents happy. I think it is complete BS. I do not tell my parents though, cause they will get mad.

Yeah I don’t really buy into it either.

Bruh if I want alcohol I am going to a bar, I do not want small bottles of medical alcohol. lol

No. They're mostly placebo medications. You can't "will" yourself to get better from a life or death disease. That's bullshit. That's teaching people that denial can cure their problems and that isn't how life works.

I think your state of mind has something to do with how well you can recover from something, but you also need real medications and treatments too!

State of mind is very important but I don’t believe it has anything to do with recovery your body will decide how it reacts with medications. Feeling good is great but if your dying it will not help.

Sorry for the morbidness but it’s just what I believe.

When someone goes on a tangent that the body can over come anything, I often find myself wanting to ask them if I can grab a hack saw and to let me cut their leg off at the femoral artery. I wouldn't actually do that but we both know they'd die if one of us were to do that. That's medical evidence that their argument sucks.

Well yeah, you can't heal your self with state of mind if you're near death or getting a limb cut off. That statement applies to ailments that it's possible to recover from. A positive mindset can't heal you by itself but it definitely can help.

A positive mindset is a fantastic thing, and may help you through some rough patches so yeah I do see what you’re saying.

I think being positive about solving a bad situation can help. Like if a woman has ovarian cancer, all they gotta do is cut out those toys and voila. She stands a good chance of beating it.
