My science teacher also has me for RTI, which is basically something new that they're trying out within the Illinois state area and it's basically an extra class that teachers whatever you are worse at, such as if someone gets all 100% except something else they get a 98%, they'll be put into a tutoring area over that class. Actually a pretty intriguing concept if I do say so myself however, it's done rather poorly and much of the assignments are several years ahead of the work that we're doing right now thus they don't truly assist us in any way shape and or form. Anyway, my Science teacher actually teachers the math aspect of RTI which is what I am in, even though I am making B's in math at that moment, and she has a reputation of being an absolute jerk but until now I have truly given her the benefit of the doubt however, whenever I was making conversation with her, I heard her state that she left early one day so that she could vote for who she wanted to win the election, I asked her who it was and she absolutely snapped at me and said that it was none of my business and there's a gigantic reason as to why they have private polls. I remember a bunch of kids talking about how she blew up at me as well, and I might have been able to get over that however, whenever she asked how I did a problem I stated that I didn't truly know the criteria for how I did it, I truly just made up a guess as to how I figured out the problem (because I haven't learned this yet), and went with that to get this answer. She yelled at me again and stated that I was an absolute liar and that she would have accepted myself just stating that I guessed instead of making things up and went onto make jabs at me for lying numerous times during the class period. Is it truly impossible that a student may sincerely make an attempt at a problem going by their own logic, that they can't truly explain afterword? Honestly, I am more surprised with the fact that she blew up at me for asking who she voted for.

So I guess what I am asking is, have you ever had a teacher that tried to put themselves at a pedestal and praises themselves as being a great teacher for being strict, whenever they're truly just cruel? Or have you ever had a horrible teacher and do you have a story that you'd like to share.

Yes, I've had horrible teachers.

My friends and I had an ongoing note of ways to kill them. At the end of the week, we had about three pages. o.o

Care to elaborate on precisely what they did wrong?

I had a teacher in the 4th year (out of 6) of secondary school for French who would give us texts to learn and understand that were used at university, which were obviously too hard for us. Every time someone made a mistake that was very stupid in her eyes, she would ridicule them in front of the whole class.

Now I was somewhat of a slacker in some other courses we had, but I was quite bad at French at the time. So even though I tried hard and struggled to get a passing result, she already made up her mind about me instead of speaking to me about it and always gave me a hard time during class. I got detention for things other people wouldn't even get yelled at for, she always made me do the most difficult exercise which I couldn't solve most of the time, she yelled my result on a test extra loud through the classroom so everyone could hear how stupid I am and she was constantly commenting on me. It could be about what I wore or that I would fail the year or some embarrassing gossip she heard from other teachers.

The worst she did however was during my oral exam, which I had to pass to pass her class. After saying about 3 words, where I couldn't possibly make a mistake yet, I could already see her writing a 2,3 or 4 out of 10 for that question.

I had her for 2 years, in the 3rd and 4th year and those were the only 2 years I didn't pass French. Luckily my points were still just good enough to go to the next year.
