My apartment is not very big, but at least it's better than the old apartment I used to live in.

Sounds like mine but I have 3 bathrooms (2 full / 1 half).
Is yours a ensuite? Our ensuite has a shower, toilet, basin etc. Then the second bathroom has toilet, shower, bath and basin.

Maybe it's different in America, basically a bathroom connecting to the main bedroom
Oh yeah, we call that the master bedroom. Yes, I have my own private bathroom in my bedroom.

Sometimes I wish I got a single story. Going up stairs is a pain sometimes when I am feeling lazy.
I think one day I'll sell this house and downsize to a one-story. Not any time soon though, I still love the house and the location. I am in a really nice / quiet neighborhood.
Ours is a single story house with three bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms upstairs, and while the basement is unfinished there's two rooms, a finished bathroom, and a huge living area with a sink. My wife and I pay my in laws rent, we live in the basement. It's a nice size, much bigger than the area we were staying in previously. We just moved into this house back in January.
