Since most mods are known to just be on and work with PCs, how do you feel about console developers supporting mods in game via their own dedicated section that anyone can submit to?

as long as it's not against the game developer's TOS I definitely support this, Maybe they could make servers and lobbies where they can allow modding and servers where it's forbidden :P

As long as it doesn't give an unfair advantage or break the game, I see nothing wrong with it.
Here at Play Observed we don't allow people to discuss such things, So I'm highly against it if they go overboard and break the entire game.
Other then that it's fine personally.

It should be offline only, where it only affects you and nothing else. Online is fine as long as it's cosmetic.

I can 100% agree with that!

People that try to ruin the legit game play for others are just toxic honestly.

Love it. The only game that I play that has such a feature is Flight Simulator. They basically have an in-game store for user-created DLC

DLC’s and things like that are definitely fun as long as it’s done offline, back in the GTA Vice City days we had cheat codes built in to the game that you can find online now these days it’s more towards modding,

For the most part they’re good like anything though it depends how it’s used.
