We've all heard of them. 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, soon to be the 11th year next year. But the 11:11 part of that supersition is actually a good thing, as they say when that's on Veteran's day, you're technically supposed to hold a moment of silence on 11:11 for those who have fought and died in wars and things like that.
I remember in January of 06, we had 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I forgot what that meant, to be honest.
And then, of course, there're are the bad ones. Like all those Halloween ones you've heard of, or whatever.
To an extent, a lot of the superstitions (like the bad ones) I never really did believe in those, as when someone comes up with a bad superstition, you know it's not real or it's not gonna happen, so there's no need to get worked up. I have, however, seen people in real life go overboard with these things, and with the bad ones they take all these precautions they wouldn't take normally. The bad ones can be fun if you just want to make a game out of it or something, but I don't believe you should take it seriously, though. Usually they're just jokes or games. Not the vetaran's day one, of course.
How do you feel about these kinds of things?
I didn't know whether to put this in general discussion or life, as they can most certainly apply to both, so the administration can move this topic if necessary.
