I was watching the Disney movie Descendants: The Rise of Red and at one point one of the main characters was convinced that she should do something wrong for the sake of something good.

If you had kids, would you want your child/children to be taught that?

It depends on the age. I don't want them learning that at a young age and thinking they have carte blanche to do bad because then they can just say it was to do something good, but if they're old enough to understand that this person did something wrong because it lead to something right, but it was still WRONG and that person could and should still face consequences for the wrong, then yeah, I'd be ok with them learning that side of it.

I suppose that teaching can be true in the real world, but I probably wouldn't want my children learning that early on. That could promote disobedience.
