How Do You Use Facebook?

Tell us how you use Facebook. (And if you’re not on Facebook, please tell us why.) What do you usually do on Facebook? How much time do you usually spend on it in a typical day? Do you ever worry about your privacy or take steps to protect it? Do you often multitask, switching between using Facebook and doing other stuff?

I make Bitstrips daily, and have most of my Facebook posts about me running 5K races or complaining about having friends.

Ranting about something, reading band updates, playing games (on a seperate account) keeping in contact with friends, and updating Metal Tavern page.

I rarely use Facebook anymore. I lost interest before the summer time I think. It mostly has my family (and some old high school friends and whatnot) on there and they seem to use it as a way to spy on me / judge me for what I say/do so I decided to stop posting my life on there.

I have blocked the majority of games and aps and everything with the word 'poker' 'casino' or 'slots' in the title, and unchecked every possible option on people that post funny cat videos and those that "like" everything.

It's a way of communicating with friends and keep up to date with certain pages. I also use it for school. We have a private group where homework, papers, summaries and other stuff like that gets posted.

I have some friends of my mum (also friends of mine too) on mine and they do this ALL the time. So annoying. They always report everything I put on there to my mum which makes me so angry. Like she'd say I wish you wouldn't swear on Facebook....I think how the hell do you know that?!?!? She hates FB though.

Her friend also logs into his sons account and then goes onto my page and tells her all what I have written!!!!

I've stopped putting loads of stuff on there now because there is just no privacy anymore, even when you turn on all the privacy settings!

Never used FB and never will. I have no desire to post 'my life' for the world to see. I'm a very private person and will only answer questions on forums that I feel comfortable answering.
