How important was Christmas to you when you were a child?

What were your Christmas mornings like?

Did Santa Claus leave presents for you?

I' share a fun christmas memory I have

one year, I'd asked for the computer game " who wants to be a millionaire?"

well, when it got to christmas day, I unwrapped an empty case. my mom said to me oh dear, em, I think santa forgot the disk back at the north poll

little did I know that she'd set it up in another room earlier, then wre wrapped the case to make me think santa did, in fact, make a mistake.

In general, my christmas mornings wern't too bad. we'd always have a real tree, presents in the morning, and then Usually cooked breakfast- before I did my own thing, (usually watch one of my new movies or play with a new toy)

It was an excuse for my parents to fight, mostly, but my sister and I made the most of it!

Christmas was amazing during my childhood. My moms side and dads side of the family went ALL OUT. It was very fond memories.

I tried my best to provide the same for my child when she was growing up but I hate to admit my childhood christmases were probably better than hers.

I'm sure she still loved them. It's more about who you spend it with than how you spend it, I remember that more than any present ever.

My childhood Christmases were pretty good. The gift unwrapping started after my dad had some coffee. lol.

I loved Christmas as a child. Santa did leave me presents when I was younger and loved it. I just feel like as I got older, the more I just started to lose that holiday spirit. I loved when almost every family member would buy me a present even if small. I don't remember whenever family stopped doing presents, but it was weird.

Oh, and as far as Christmas morning went... We opened presents usually and then I'd play with the new toy, video game, video game console, etc. In adulthood we do most of the same, but usually try and do a Christmas breakfast or brunch.

It was very important. I lived for it.

When I was 9 I quit believing in Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny when it was brought to my attention that none of them were real. When I was almost 12, I concluded that God wasn't real either.
