How much is too much?

What would you consider too much time on the computer?

For things other than work purposes? 3+ hours

Depends what you are doing. I watch all my movies on my laptop, and many NHL games. Each of these are around two hours, so it adds up. For general purposes, more than 3 hours is too much.

24 hours a day is maybe too much on the computer. But hey, you really do need to go out and be with friends and family, get some sunshine, exercise, all that sort. Oh and sleep. I should take my own advice.

Make sure that when you are using the computer for extended periods of time you exercise your precious eyes.

Im on for more than 3 hours.. I work 2pm-10:30pm.. I get off work and get home by 11pm. Once in a great while I will go out to a bar or catch a late movie with some friends who happen to be available and can stay out late that day.. But there isnt really anything to do besides that. So I go home and get my computer until 3 in the morning. Its not like I have to be up early.. I dont have to be to work until 2pm..

I suppose If I were wasting all that time away during the daytime, then it would be too much.
